Taco Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 onion, chopped
24 oz. canned tomatoes, mashed or lightly blended
4 c. chicken stock
8 oz. chopped green chilies
1/4 tsp. garlic
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. cumin
2 c. chopped cooked chicken or turkey
crushed tortilla chips
cheese
Preparation

Saute onion in margarine until onion is clear.
Add tomatoes, chicken stock, green chilies, spices and chicken.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer.
To serve, ladle soup over crushed tortillas and garnish with shredded cheese of your choice.
