Mom'S Lettuce And Green Onions - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. chopped lettuce leaves
5 green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation

Place chopped lettuce in a large serving bowl.
Place chopped onions on top. Heat bacon grease until it begins to smoke.
Pour over the onions. Sprinkle on salt and stir thoroughly. (Can omit salt if on a low sodium diet.)
