White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans, 7 1/2 oz., minced clams
1/4 c. olive or salad oil
1/4 c. oleo or butter
2 or 3 garlic cloves, minced or crushed
2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Drain clams, reserving 3/4 c. liquid.
In skillet, slowly heat oil and butter.
Add garlic and saute until golden.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the clam liquid, chopped parsley and salt; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Add clams, simmer 3 minutes.
Makes enough for 8 oz. of spaghetti.
