Meringue Topped Grapefruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Ruby Red grapefruits
    1 c. orange marmalade
    3 egg whites
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Halve each grapefruit; remove seeds and cut between membranes to free fruit sections.
    Place on a baking sheet.
    In a small pan, heat marmalade until just warm.
    Beat egg whites, adding sugar one tablespoon at a time, until stiff peaks form.
    Fold warm marmalade into egg whites.
    Top each grapefruit, mounding the meringue and bringing it to the edges of the fruit. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until well browned.
