Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 carton sour cream
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 c. cornflakes, crushed
    1/4 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients; stir well.
    Spread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine cornflakes and 1/4 cup melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
