Mother'S Cherry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. chopped nuts
1- 8 oz. cream cheese
1- 9 oz. Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling (do not use Lite filling)
1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar, divided
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine flour, butter and nuts in a small bowl.
Mix with hands and press dough evenly into a 13 inch by 9 inch baking dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.
Cool.
