Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
1 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. Wesson oil
3 eggs
1 c. cream-style corn
1/2 pod sweet pepper
1 or more pods hot pepper
1 small onion
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix all together and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese.
Bake until golden brown at 400\u00b0 or 500\u00b0.
