Lime Sherbet Molded Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. lime jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 pt. lime sherbet, softened
    1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping
Preparation
    In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in sherbet. Cool until syrupy. Spoon whipped topping into large bowl. Gradually beat in jello mixture on low speed until well blended. Pour into a 12-cup mold coated with nonstick cooking spray. Refrigerate 6 to 8 hours until set. Yields 16 servings.
