Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    2 eggs
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream together shortening and the 2 cups sugar. Add molasses and eggs; beat well.
    Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt; add to first mixture.
    Mix well and cover; chill.
