Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 stick oleo
1 c. powdered sugar
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 3 oz. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
3 1/2 c. milk
1 12 oz. pkg. Cool Whip, thawed
1 20 oz. pkg. Oreo cookies crushed in blender or food processor to resemble dirt

Preparation

Cream margarine, cream cheese, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, pudding and Cool Whip and combine with the first mixture.
Put 1/3 of cookies in bottom of a clean flower pot.
Add a layer (1/2) of pudding mixture.
Repeat ending with cookie mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
Decorate with a plastic or silk flower.
Variations:
You can add gummy worms with some sticking out of cookie mixture.
Also you can use French vanilla pudding.
