Potato Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 1/2 oz. cut asparagus
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 c. water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3/4 c. instant mashed potatoes
1 c. half and half or 2% milk
1 tsp. chopped fresh dill or 1/4 tsp. dill weed
dash of pepper
Preparation

Drain asparagus; reserve liquid.
In medium pan, saute onion and margarine.
Stir in reserved asparagus liquid, water and bouillon.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in potatoes.
Blend well.
Add asparagus, half and half, dill and pepper.
Return to heat.
Heat slowly.
Stir frequently.
