Mrs. Decker'S Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white syrup
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat first 3 ingredients to 230\u00b0.
    Add peanuts.
    Cook to 300\u00b0. Add last three ingredients.
    Pour out on buttered marble slab. Stretch and pull until thin.
    Let cool.
    Store in airtight container.
