Drummond Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or 2 c. long grain rice
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/4 lb. butter
    3 pkg. beef broth
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    pepper
    seasoned salt
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 pkg. chicken broth mix
Preparation
    Cook rice in water until tender.
    Add butter, beef broth and almonds.
    Cook for 10 minutes.
    Saute onions in small amount of butter.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes until transparent.
    Saute mushrooms in same pan.
    Add seasonings.
