Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

22 large apples, peeled and quartered
2 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. cinnamon \"red hots\"
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
-
Put apples and water in large kettle.
Simmer until apples are very soft.
Stir in remaining ingredients until sugar and candy are dissolved.
Cool.
Makes about 25 servings.
Cut some apples crosswise and find the star!
