Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c.powdered sugar
    12 egg whites
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix flour and powdered sugar together.
    Set aside.
    Place egg whites, cream of tartar and salt into a large mixing bowl.
    Beat until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar (about 2 tablespoons at a time). Continue beating until meringue holds stiff peaks.
    Fold in vanilla and almond extract.
    Add gradually flour-powdered sugar mixture over meringue.
    Fold in gently just until the flour-powdered sugar mixture disappears.
    Push batter into ungreased tube pan.
    Gently cut through batter with knife.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until top springs back when lightly touched.
    Invert on a funnel.
    Let hang until cool, 30 to 35 minutes.
