Just "Peachy" Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a bowl mix peaches, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    Refrigerate for 2 hours.
    In a deep Corning Ware dish, melt butter.
    In a bowl mix flour, 1 cup sugar, buttermilk and vanilla and pour into butter.
    Spoon in peaches and juice.
    Bake at 425\u00b0, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until brown.
