Scotch Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    canned pie filling
    maraschino cherries
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Blend butter, flour, egg, powder and sugar.
    Carefully roll onto floured board.
    Cut into squares and fill greased muffin tins.
    Fill with pie filling.
    Cut circle tops out of dough and place over filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden, 20 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and top with cherry.
