Cheese Blintz - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf sandwich bread
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg yolk
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
melted butter
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 c. raisins
2 c. applesauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs.
Sift in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg.
Let raisins stand in hot water for 5 minutes; drain and pat dry.
Add raisins and applesauce to flour mixture.
Add salt, lemon juice and vanilla; mix.
Place dough in 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake for 50 minutes or until done.
Cool. These loaves freeze well.
