Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak (1-inch thick)
3 Tbsp. melted fat
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 onion, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. flour
3 c. tomatoes or tomato juice
Preparation

Rub salt and pepper into steak.
Dredge with flour.
Brown quickly on both sides in hot fat with onion.
Add tomatoes; cover tightly and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Serves 8.
