Meatballs In Sweet N Sour Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drained (save syrup)
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 1/2 lb. hamburg
2/3 c. cracker crumbs
1/3 c. minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation

Mix hamburg, crackers, onion, egg, salt, ginger and milk.
Make meatballs.
Melt shortening and cook meatballs, then remove.
Keep warm.
Mix cornstarch and sugar.
Stir in pineapple syrup, vinegar and soy sauce until smooth, then pour into skillet.
Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Add meatballs, pineapple and peppers.
Heat through.
