Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cinnamon *
3 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1/2 c. finely diced apple (approximately 1 medium-large apple) *
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Combine eggs, milk, Wesson oil and apples; add to dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth.
Use about 1/2 cup batter for each waffle.
Bake in hot waffle iron until golden brown.
Yield: 8 waffles.
