Cookie Salad - cooking recipe

1 c. buttermilk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. butter pecan or vanilla instant pudding
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 pkg. fudge-strip cookies or chocolate frosted graham crackers, broken up
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients in order listed.
Close to serving time, add fudge-strip cookies or chocolate frosted graham crackers, broken up.
