Parmesan Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 (1 lb.) Vidalia or other sweet onions, cut in half crosswise
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Cut 12 (12-inch) squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
    Place an onion half, cut side up, in center of each. Dot each onion with butter; sprinkle with cheese, salt and pepper.
    Wrap well; place on baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until tender. Serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
