Grandma Quinn'S Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. hot black coffee or Postum
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in large kettle; boil for 3 minutes.
    Cover and let stand overnight.
    Dissolve baking soda in coffee.
    Mix in remaining ingredients.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    (Recipe can be doubled or tripled and baked in loaf pans for Christmas gifts, etc.)
