Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger, fried and drained on paper towels
    2 lb. American cheese, grated
    2 large chopped onions
    1 c. jalapeno peppers, fresh or canned, chopped
    2 c. yellow cornmeal
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 cans cream-style corn
    1 c. bacon drippings
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, eggs, corn, bacon drippings, soda and salt. Pour light level of batter in bottom of 10 x 15-inch pan.
    Next, add cheese.
    Layer in meat and jalapenos.
    Add remaining batter on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Can be halved and baked in 2 smaller pans.
