Blueberry Cheesecake Pie - cooking recipe

1 ready to bake pie shell
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
1 qt. blueberries
1/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
butter
Preparation

Meanwhile, wash and drain blueberries.
Combine blueberries, water, sugar and cornstarch.
Boil until clear, stirring constantly.
Add butter and mix until smooth.
Cool slightly. Pour over baked mixture.
Allow to cool.
Refrigerate.
