Rice And Oyster Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    10 to 12 chopped green onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 small chopped green peppers
    1 qt. small or medium oysters
    1 lb. chicken giblets, chopped
    3 c. cooked rice
    salt
    red and black pepper to taste
    fresh parsley
Preparation
    Melt butter and add onions, celery and green peppers.
    Cook until soft or turned color.
    Add drained oysters and cooked chopped giblets.
    Pour over cooked rice and add fresh parsley. Mix very well with salt and pepper to taste and a little cayenne pepper.
    If dressing is too dry, add some of liquid from oysters or liquid from cooked giblets.
    Stuff turkey or chicken or serve as a side dish with any fowl or meat.
    Makes 7 to 10 servings.
