Baked Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. enriched elbow macaroni
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. (8 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook macaroni as package label directs; drain.
    Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan.
    Remove from heat; stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
    Gradually stir in milk; bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese and the macaroni.
    Pour into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
