Meatballs In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. soft bread crumbs, soaked in 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except the butter; shape into balls the size of walnut.
    Brown in butter, turning often to retain shape. Set aside.
