Cherry Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. nuts, ground
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
    Add flour to mixture.
    Spread 3/4 of the batter on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spoon on pie filling.
    Drop remaining fourth of batter on top.
    (It spreads as it bakes.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
