Pizzelles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter or oleo
7 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
15 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. orange extract
2 tsp. lemon extract
3 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. anise oil or anise extract to taste (3 to 6 tsp.)
Preparation

Melt butter; cool.
Beat eggs, extracts, sugar and cooled butter together.
Add flour and baking powder.
Mix until smooth; batter will be very soft.
Spoon 1 teaspoon batter to the iron at a time.
Makes about 8 to 10 dozen pizzelles.
