Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar on high speed for about 5 minutes. Turn to low.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake in tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Set temperature at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
