Baked Italian Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    10 oz. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/3 medium green pepper, chopped
    dash of garlic seasoning
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    3/4 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 c. tomato puree
    1 c. catsup
    2 c. water
    8 oz. spaghetti
    1/2 c. sharp American cheese, grated
Preparation
    Partially brown beef in fat, add onions and peppers.
    Continue to cook until they become glazed and beef is browned on all sides. Add seasonings, tomato puree, catsup and water.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours until meat is suspended throughout mixture and flavors are well blended.
    Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water about 20 minutes; drain.
    Mix spaghetti and sauce.
    Place in casserole dish and top with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Note: Casserole can be frozen.
