Crock Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    300 small pickles or pieces, washed
    2/3 c. salt
    boiling water
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. pickling spice
    2 qt. vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle pickles with salt.
    Cover with boiling water; leave overnight.
    Place pickles in crock.
    Then mix the mustard, sugar, pickling spice and vinegar.
    Pour over pickles.
    Let stand.
    Add 1/4 cup of sugar each day until seasoned to taste.
