Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 1/2 lb.) can whole tomatoes
    1 small onion, diced
    1/4 c. butter
    1 1/4 c. dried bread cubes
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown onion in butter in an iron skillet.
    Add bread crumbs and sugar; cook slowly.
    Stir in tomatoes and seasonings.
    Place in buttered pan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
