Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

1/4 lb. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
4 eggs
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Brown margarine lightly in skillet to lend a rich flavor. Remove from stove. Stir in sugar and as mixture cools slightly, add eggs beaten together. Add corn syrup and pecans. Pour into one extra-large or two small pie pans lined with uncooked pastry. Bake in moderate oven until mixture sets and the crust browns nicely. Do not over cut.
