Chocolate Cake With Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. caramels (14 oz.)
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. chopped pecans
    whipped topping
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, oil and milk. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture and mix well. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool.
