Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Medium Potatoes
    3 C Milk
    1 large Onion, finely diced
    2 Tbsp butter
    Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel potatoes.
    Cut into thin, small pieces.
    Cook in water until almost done; drain off most of the water, leaving enough to completely cook potatoes.
    Add onion.
    Reduce heat to simmer; cook until onion is tender.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring mixture, almost to a boil.
