Coconut Cream Or Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    2 c. milk
    2 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    In large skillet, mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Then add beaten egg yolks.
    Add milk.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter, coconut and vanilla.
    Pour into cooked pie shell.
    Top with meringue or whipped cream.
    (Sprinkle coconut on uncooked meringue for decoration.)
