Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 egg whites
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook until mixture forms a firm ball when dropped into water. In small second boiler, cook 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water.
    Cook slowly, a little longer than the first cooking.
    Do not let it crystallize.
    Add first cooking to beaten egg whites and beat.
    Add the second cooking and beat and beat.
    Fold in all the nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined trays.
