Pecan Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. raw peanuts
    10 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2/3 c. white Karo syrup
    1 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients; cook in heavy pan.
    Bring to boil, stirring 3 or 4 times.
    Add oleo and vanilla.
    Put pan in cold water; beat and drop on wax paper.
    This recipe will serve 4 people.
