Mexican Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    1 small onion
    1/4 medium green pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/8 tsp. chili powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. instant rice
Preparation
    Chop pepper very fine and salt and pepper to taste.
    Brown bacon until crisp in skillet.
    Remove bacon.
    Add chopped onion, pepper and rice.
    Brown in bacon grease until onion is soft.
    Add tomato sauce plus 1 1/3 sauce cans of water and spices.
    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until all liquid is absorbed.
