Black Sweet Cherry And Peach Molded Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 envelopes gelatin
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. orange juice
2 c. ginger ale
1 c. pitted sweet black cherries
1 c. sliced fresh peaches or drained frozen or canned
1/2 c. pecan halves
cottage cheese
salad greens
Preparation

Combine gelatin and lemon juice and heat over hot water until dissolved.
Combine with sugar, salt, orange juice and ginger ale. Chill until syrupy and fold in fruits and nuts.
Pour into a ring mold.
Chill until firm.
Unmold on salad greens.
Fill center with cottage cheese.
Garnish with whole cherries with stems. Serves 6 or 8.
