Beer Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. Bisquick mix
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
    3 1/2 to 4 c. all-purpose unbleached flour
    1 egg white
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water in large mixing bowl.
    Stir in salt, shortening and 1 1/2 cups of the flour.
    Beat with spoon until smooth.
    Stir in enough remaining flour (first with spoon, then continue by hand) to make dough easy to handle.
