Mommy'S Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 to 12 potatoes
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. prepared mustard
4 large lettuce leaves
2 or 3 boiled eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 jar midget pickles
1 medium onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. juice (from the sweet pickles)
Preparation

Peel the potatoes, cut in cubes and cook until tender.
Drain. Add butter while potatoes are still hot. With potato masher, mash the potatoes until smooth, adding the milk until thickness desired.
Add salt, prepared mustard, pickle juice and onion; mix well.
Line a platter with the lettuce leaves. Spoon potato salad on the leaves. Shape into a rounded loaf.
Cut sweet pickles in half lengthwise.
Slice hard-boiled eggs. Arrange the pickle slices and eggs on top of the salad.
