Mexican Bean Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried kidney beans or 4 c. cooked
    3 tsp. salt
    6 slices bacon
    4 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1 clove garlic
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. cayenne
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. sweet pickle juice
    1/4 c. coffee
    6 onion slices
Preparation
    Boil beans 2 minutes and soak 1 hour or overnight.
    Fry bacon half done; add fat to bean water and boil gently 2 hours.
    Drain. Mix all ingredients except bacon, coffee and onion.
    Bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Pour coffee over beans, bacon and onion slices. Bake 20 minutes longer at 400\u00b0.
