Heart Healthy Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal, white stoned ground
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. canola oil
2 egg whites
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients well.
Add slightly beaten egg whites, canola oil and buttermilk.
Mix until smooth.
Pour into hot canola oil-coated cast iron skillet.
Bake in a 450\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes to a golden brown.
