Patchwork Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 green pepper, chopped
    3 green tomatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. cumin powder
    1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans
    1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (6 oz.) can water
Preparation
    Crumble beef and cook until no longer pink.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Can season with garlic powder, oregano, basil, etc. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Makes 6 servings.
