M.N.'S Favorite Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. diced bacon
    4 oz. sliced kielbasa
    1 large chopped onion
    2 large chopped carrots
    3 ribs chopped celery
    6 c. water
    1 large can whole tomatoes, cut into pieces
    1/2 c. dried navy beans, soaked
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 bay leaf
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. dried basil
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. marjoram
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Preparation
    In large kettle, saute bacon until browned; drain fat.
    Add sausage, onion, carrot and celery.
    Saute until onion is tender. Add water, tomatoes and beans.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes until beans are almost tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer, covered until done.
    Discard bay leaf.
