4 sq. chocolate
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter.
Sift together flour, cornstarch and salt.
In bowl pour boiling water over sugar.
Add chocolate mix and buttermilk which has had soda added to it.
Add flour, eggs and vanilla. Stir just until blended and pour quickly (the batter will look soupy).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
